Handouts and Material for the New LDS Youth Curriculum

Hello everyone, and please excuse my hiatus yet again.  I'm sure we all had a busy past few months, but now I am back in business and ready to go.

Before I begin, I have an important announcement.  Due to a large increase in freelance work for my design and illustration business over at liliribs.com, I will now be creating content for holyhandouts.com primarily based on submissions/ideas from my dear readers and followers.  As much as I love researching the content for my handouts, I am also working on supporting my family too and that requires a lot of what free time I do have.  But, I still want to provide handouts to help our young women (and anyone else) further their knowledge of the love God has for them.

So, if you have an idea for an upcoming lesson, simply fill out the form on the tab above or click here!

Although-
I will be creating a series of posters and other materials for each month/topic of the new LDS Youth Curriculum: Come Follow Me. These can be displayed in the classroom so that the youth can know what they will be discussing and pondering about all month.

Here is a graphic index of all the topics of the year:

The monthly material will include:
-Topic Poster
-Topic Questions
-Question slips (we have these available for girls to ask questions they may have on the topic.)
- 3x5 notecard template for girls to record notes and thoughts, as well as write down their "assignments" or "homework" for the week.

  1. This is great, Thank you! Another thing that would be helpful is a 4x6 printable that goes with the monthly theme, that has space to write down an assignment or challenge as a reminder for the girls to do in an upcoming week.

  6. These are awesome!! You have a beautiful talent. Would it be possible for you to make these to match the Sunday School curriculum as well? They have slightly different questions.

    Thanks again for sharing!!

  9. Hi-we are going to use the Primary talk/scripture wristbands handouts. I wanted to thank you-sorry its on the wrong post. Anyway, we were almost going to use an older, sadly un*hip version and then stumbled upon your site. Thanks so much!

  10. Hello! Love your ideas and the way you present them. I am making binder/journals for the Young Women - so they can take notes, prepare lessons, write down their feelings to things we discuss etc. In the binder format I can then print off talks for them to add to the lesson topic - add things as we go - or back to topics.. you get the idea?

Any how, I really want to use your images from the index of all the topics for the year as dividers for each month in the binder. Would you be able to pdf each months image into one 8.5 x 11? Perhaps with the scripture along?

Would LOVE LOVE LOVE this...as then the whole book would be so unified with your themes!

Please let me know! Thank you so much in advance!

  11. Just want to say thank you for designing these wonderful images for the new curriculum. I use them on our bulletin board in our Young Women's room, so we always have the month's theme and lesson outline questions on display. I'm grateful for your work! Thank you!
