Regarding PDFs

I have had several people request a PDF version of the handouts, which I am currently working on uploading.  Thanks for your feedback, all!  I have updated the last 5 or 6 posts with links to PDFs, which should now be functional.  If anyone is having difficulty downloading them, let me know, and my husband and I will do a little more troubleshooting, and make it all work and stuff.

Thanks everyone, I do enjoy hearing from you all in comments and emails.  Enjoy the PDFs!

Arise and Shine Forth

Here are the 2012 mutual theme posters.  I have another one in mind that I want to try out, but I thought I'd post these since they are done.  If I get around to it, calendar templates and other things may be in the works.

Young Women Lesson 5: Finding Joy in Our Divine Potential

Sorry about the delay, we have had a terrible little bug going around the house.

Here's the handout for Young Women Manual 1 Lesson 5: Finding Joy in Our Divine Potential.  Since there isn't really a true structure to the lesson, I just put together a simple little note taking sheet.  Anyway, it's available to those interested!
Here's one just by itself:

These next two are ready to print on an 8 1/2x11.

YW Theme

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone out there leaving awesome and encouraging comments!  I'm glad you are finding my blog to be useful.  My primary motivation when making my handouts is to serve the Lord, and always hope that these handouts help you do the same!

There have been a few requests for a YW theme, so here you are. I am also working on a set of each value and their scripture and quote.  Anyway, I am planning to enlarge this at Costco on a 20x30 poster (I think it costs $8.99) as our theme is a tad dated (we have "Virtue" squeezed in with a permanent marker). If you are also interested in a poster print, click here for the 20x30 hi-res jpeg.

*I wanted to add, if you do print it at Costco (or any other printing place) be sure the upload the poster in FULL RESOLUTION.  Normally it is a little box to check on the upload screen.  It will make a huge difference.

Thanks all!
-Lili

Young Women Manual 1 Lesson 4: Seeking the Companionship of the Holy Ghost

Here's a handout for Young Women Manual 1 Lesson 4: Seeking the Companionship of the Holy Ghost.  I decided to mix it up a little and try a different style than I normally do, and I thought it would be fun to do some hand drawn work with my new tablet that I got for Christmas!  Hopefully you like it, I'm still getting used to it.

These lists were taken from an article that I often refer to found in the 1978 August Ensign. ( Link http://lds.org/ensign/1978/08/i-have-a-question?lang=eng)    It was a list that a group of youth and young people put together themselves about how they can tell when they have the spirit and when they don't.  It is essential that we can recognize and understand the need for the Spirit in our lives, and it is more simple to feel it than we tend to think.  Anyway, hopefully this helps with your lesson! Simply click to enlarge, right click to save.

FYI- Many people have been emailing me and commenting about the "immodesty" issue, or rather lack there of.  Everyone look closely with me, and you will see two sleeve lines clearly on her wrists, as well as a different color of shading on the shirt.  I want you all to know I wouldn't intentionally draw an immodest girl on an LDS handout.  Perhaps I will get around to making it a little more clearly defined, but my to-do list of mommy time, commission work, and current handouts come before fiddling with little details.  If it still concerns you, feel free to go ahead and darken the line.

Also, thanks for mentioning the multiple per page option, and for your willingness to share.  I just added one here.

also available in black and white! (Click here for PDF)

Young Women Manual 1 Lesson 2: Jesus Christ, the Savior

Here are a few options for Young Women Manual 1 Lesson 2: Jesus Christ, the Savior.  These first two are the suggested scriptures each with a symbol.  Then, after that I have included 6 books marks with the scriptures actually written out, which could be passed out to read, or as a handout.

I have included those on an 8 1/2 x 11 paper at the bottom.  Just click to enlarge, save, and enjoy!

And here are some grayscale options, too!
